By downloading or using DOTHING, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
DOTHING grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
DOTHING is free to use with up to 5 open tasks of your own, each with up to 3 open subtasks. Completed and deleted tasks don't count, and tasks shared with you are not limited. DOTHING Pro removes these limits. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase with no recurring charges. Yearly and Lifetime are also offered as Family plans, shared with your family through Apple's Family Sharing. Everyone who bought DOTHING's earlier one-time purchase keeps Pro.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID's subscription settings. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your tasks, notes, drawings, photos, files, and links are yours. You are responsible for what you add to DOTHING and for keeping anything important backed up. Deleted tasks stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then are permanently removed.
When you share a task, the people you invite can see and change it, including its subtasks, notes, attachments, and activity. Only share with people you trust, and only share content you have the right to share. Anyone can leave a shared task, and the owner can remove people or stop sharing at any time.
DOTHING's app blocking uses Apple's Screen Time to help you focus. It is a focus aid, not a security or parental-control guarantee: blocking can be ended at any time, and DOTHING is not responsible for anything missed while apps are blocked.
You agree not to use DOTHING for any unlawful purpose, to share content that infringes others' rights, to interfere with the app's operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems connected to the app.
DOTHING is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that reminders and sync will always arrive on time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prem Anandh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DOTHING.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

DOTHING has no servers and no accounts of its own. Your tasks live on your devices and in your own iCloud. We can't see them, and we don't collect, sell, or share your data.
Your tasks, subtasks, notes, drawings, photos, files, links, activity, and focus sessions are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, they sync across your devices through your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit, under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.
When you share a task, it and everything in it are stored in iCloud where the people you invite can access them. They see your name as your iCloud account shows it, and who added or changed what. The email address or phone number you invite someone with is used by Apple to find their iCloud account. When someone changes a shared task, DOTHING can notify the others through Apple's push notification service.
If you allow it, DOTHING reads your contacts on your device only, to help you find people to invite and to show their photos. Your contacts are never uploaded or sent to us.
When you hold to speak, your voice is turned into text on your device by Apple's speech recognition, and the text becomes a task on your device, using Apple Intelligence when it's available. Audio is not saved and is not sent to us.
App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time. The apps you choose to block are saved on your device only, as private codes from Apple that DOTHING can't read. Your focus sessions (when you focused and for how long) are saved with your tasks, so they sync through iCloud, and on a shared task they are part of the shared task's data. The Screen Time summary on the Focus page is calculated and shown by Apple's Screen Time inside DOTHING; those numbers never leave your device and we cannot read them.
DOTHING only uses the photos and files you choose to attach. When you add a link, your device loads that web page to show its title and image, as a normal visit to that site.
Reminders are scheduled on your device. Widgets, Live Activities, and Siri show and add your tasks on your device. None of this is sent to us.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. DOTHING only checks with the App Store whether you have Pro; we never see your payment details.
DOTHING does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising. If you choose to share app analytics with developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports, which we use only to fix problems.
You can delete any task in the app; it stays in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then is permanently removed. Deleting DOTHING removes its data from that device. To remove DOTHING's iCloud data, go to Settings, then your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage.
DOTHING is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
